About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Safeway. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Execute pharmacy programs and product launches to promote patient service standards, drive sales, control labor, monitor margin, and control shrink.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Act in the patient's best interest to implement and support patient-centered care through professional scope of practice and team delivery of company programs.
  • Culture and Experience: Inspire a positive, patient-focused culture and experience, product availability, and customer service standards while developing and monitoring business plans to deliver on KPIs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regulatory requirements and Company policies, processes, and procedures (e.g., OHS, Loss Prevention) are implemented in the department, train staff, and ensure adherence.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and a Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Kroll software (preferred).
