Technical Animator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Animator to join our team at IFG - International Financial Group. As a Technical Animator, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining gameplay animation systems in UE5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with peers to design and implement animation state machines, behaviors, and runtime solutions that meet studio best practices.
  • Work with engineers and Leads to create animation behavior tools and techniques that enable the building of complex movement systems accessible to content creators.
  • Troubleshoot in-game animation implementation issues and provide solutions.
  • Support the animation team with technical animation issues and identify opportunities for pipeline improvements.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in AAA video game development with real-time animation systems.
  • Experience with Unreal is a plus.
  • Real-time engine experience, preferably in Unreal creating animation blueprints.
  • Knowledge of Python is a benefit.
  • Self-motivated, creative problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Passion for the industry and understanding of industry trends and technologies.
What We Offer:
