Job Title: Electrical Construction Project ManagerEstimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Construction Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Project Managers and Site Supervisors to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring project targets are achieved. They will also maintain and update document control logs, follow through on project management procedures, and provide status updates of work in progress.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Project Managers and Site Supervisors to develop and actively maintain project schedules
  • Maintaining and updating document control logs and following through on project management procedures
  • Providing status updates of work in progress and supporting with project forecasting, cost control, and Plan Group's T.I.M.
  • Participating in site meetings and documenting meeting minutes
  • Proactively identifying and bringing to management's attention potential problems and/or schedule delays

The ideal candidate will have related Electrical Engineering post-secondary education and a minimum of one year related experience; trade experience is a definite asset.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project, with experience with scheduling software such as Primavera being an asset.

They will also have experience analyzing and understanding mechanical construction drawings and experience working on commercial projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements and qualifications:

  • Related Electrical Engineering post-secondary education
  • A minimum of one year related experience; trade experience is a definite asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera (an asset)
  • Experience analyzing and understanding mechanical construction drawings
  • Experience working on commercial projects
