Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage divisional sales strategies to align with corporate objectives, including outlining expectations for sales, gross margin, and pricing.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to Agronomists, Sales Representatives, and Branch Managers in developing, implementing, and executing sales plans to meet performance targets and ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Manage the customer base and effectively implement customer programs.
  • Be responsible for precision ag products and customer planning resources.
  • In conjunction with Divisional and Branch Management, assist in developing sales, operating, and capital budgets.
  • Be accountable for providing real-time information on saleable inventory, competitive pricing/programs, and sales vs. objectives.
  • Provide market intelligence to Product Line Manager, Marketing, Regions, and Division Management Teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated effective experience in farm supply sales and marketing.
  • University Degree in Agriculture, Commerce, or Administration.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Proficient in utilizing computers for word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications.
