We are seeking a highly skilled QA Director, Software Development to shape the future of our software quality standards. As a key member of our dynamic organization, you will lead QA within a Hybrid model and work in our Toronto office.

Reporting Relationship: You will report directly to Shem Ali, SVP, Emerging Solutions.

About the Role
  • You will lead Quality Assurance teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement QA strategies to enhance product quality, reduce bugs, and streamline testing processes through automation.
  • Interface with business, product, and development teams to understand product vision and requirements.
  • Oversight of process development for consistency in QA activities across multiple technology stacks aligning with industry best practices.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance requirements, technical constraints, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaboration with product development, engineering, and business teams to ensure efficient testing processes are in place.
  • Establish goals for QA processes and teams, providing regular reports to Senior Leadership.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with applications testing.
  • 3+ years of experience leading QA teams.
  • Expertise in QA process, best practices, methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle, test automation, manual testing, and defect management tools with an emphasis on project management.
  • Experience establishing team vision and goals that align to broader business objectives.
