Transportation Solutions Manager

As a key member of the Gallagher team, you will play a vital role in supporting a designated portfolio of Commercial clients with a focus on Transportation. This position involves managing existing client relationships, driving business retention, and continually building upon customer relationships.
This role requires a strong understanding of the Commercial Mid-Market and Transportation segments, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with Account Executives to develop deep relationships with clients and build synergy with colleagues.
Key responsibilities include reviewing accounts at renewal, taking vital steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when required, and adhering to binding authority set out by carriers. You will also respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently, maintaining a quick turnaround time for any actions required on behalf of the client.
Additionally, you will recognize upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads, and working with Account Executives in binding the client. Consistently acting to upgrade insurance market knowledge, keeping abreast of new products and policy updates is also essential.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of Commercial Mid-Market experience preferably within a brokerage environment
- Experience within the Transportation segment will be considered a strong asset
- Licensing in good standing CAIB, CIP, CRM or other relevant certifications and or designations are highly valued in this role
- Knowledge of EPIC considered an asset
