Job SummaryAs a Professional Services Consultant (PSC), you will provide deployment, configuration, and operational services for our customers relating to Palo Alto Networks products.
Key Responsibilities- Provide deployment, optimization, and operationalization of our NGFW security solutions into customer networks
- Guide customers on how to integrate our products into their operational workflows and networks following best practice-based methodologies
- Proactively identify and communicate project status, risks, and issues with the Professional Services Project Manager
- Interact with TAC to troubleshoot and diagnose support cases
- Ability to work on a team or lead a team depending upon the specified project
- Other tasks and duties as needed to support the customer and/or business
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing security solutions in large environments
- Detailed technical experience in the deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and operations of high-end firewall appliances, ideally Palo Alto Networks products
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally
- Aptitude to effectively juggle and manage many different tasks simultaneously
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent education/training/experience
- Experience migrating other vendors to Palo Alto using either Expedition or Automation
- Strong expertise in Python automation
