Job Title: Child Development SpecialistEstimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per yearDescription:

We are seeking an exceptional Child Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing engaging activities that promote the overall well-being of our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Program Planning: Collaborate with our team to develop and implement comprehensive child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
  • Activity Leadership: Lead educational activities, including storytelling, songs, and excursions to local attractions, to stimulate curiosity and creativity in our young learners.
  • Caregiving: Provide individualized attention and support to help children establish healthy habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and prepare detailed reports for parents and guardians to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Teamwork: Foster strong relationships with colleagues and community partners to create a network of support for our children and families.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure a safe and stimulating environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social growth in our children.
Requirements:
  • Education: A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting.
  • Certifications: Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and any other relevant certifications.
Work Environment:
  • Location: Our childcare centre is located in a convenient and accessible location.
  • Hours: 35-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Language: English.
