We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Mr Mozzarella. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall culinary direction of our restaurant, including menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff management.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and leadership, with experience in managing a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be expected to maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all dishes, while ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement menus that reflect the culinary expertise and creativity of our restaurant.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- Train and develop junior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen budgets and make informed decisions about resource allocation.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a head chef or senior kitchen manager.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
