Haztech Energy Corp is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a casual role at Correctional Centres. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential onsite emergency medical services within the correctional facility, addressing both urgent and non-urgent medical needs.
Key Responsibilities- Emergency Response: Utilize your quick thinking and medical training to respond to emergencies and assess patients effectively.
- Chronic Disease Management: Provide care and support for individuals with chronic conditions, helping them maintain their health.
- Health Promotion: Advocate for wellness and prevention within the facility, making a lasting impact on the community.
- Coordination of Medical Evacuations: Manage emergency medical evacuations when needed, ensuring patient safety and care.
- Completion of a recognized Nursing program & valid license in Saskatchewan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Ability to thrive autonomously and under pressure
- Valid driver's license and criminal record clearance
- A professional demeanor that represents Haztech's commitment to exceptional service
