Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Clerk Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our stock clerks and ensuring that our inventory is accurately managed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of stock clerks to ensure that inventory is accurately received, stored, and distributed.
  • Merchandise Coordination: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and establish work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of grocery clerks and shelf stockers to ensure that store operations run smoothly.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy loads.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
