Cineplex Digital Ad Operations

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year.

About the Role:

The Ad Operations Manager is a key position in our digital media team responsible for managing and optimizing ad operations to drive revenue growth. This role involves leading the digital online/media ad operations team to optimize direct sales and guaranteed programmatic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Manage the Ad Operations team and its primary functions including forecasting, trafficking, reporting, and analysis.
  2. Revenue Growth: Champion and grow Cineplex's advertising revenue across digital online and app platforms in collaboration with Sales, Operations, Digital Products, and external vendors.
  3. Pricing Strategy: Lead pricing strategy to manage rates and client strategy to maximize yield.
  4. Reporting and Billing: Manage all aspects of reporting, invoicing, and billing of advertisers and partners and address discrepancies and resolve disputes.
  5. Troubleshooting: Facilitate troubleshooting between support teams, technology, and partners and lead all UAT, pre-stage, and tests.
  6. Data Analysis: Generate data-driven insights and develop tools to streamline the operation and optimize inventory.
  7. First-Party Data: Manage first-party data and proprietary custom segments and explore upsell opportunities.
  8. Client Support: Work with D&T and Marketing to provide dedicated support for client tag management including floodlight tags and pixel implementations.
  9. Ad Policy Compliance: Ensure Cineplex's advertising policies, rates, and both Cineplex and Industry Ad standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, commerce, statistics, web development, information technology, or relevant field.
  • 5+ years of ad operations, digital online media, or other publisher experience on digital platform.
  • 3+ years of leadership and management experience.
  • 2+ years of data analysis.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Ad Manager.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript.
  • Good knowledge of digital analytics and DMP/CDP – Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform is a plus.
