Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Billing Manager to join our team at Apryse. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our billing and collections processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve billing and collections processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to integrate billing and collections systems, including NetSuite and Salesforce.
  • Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring seamless integration and functionality between systems.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the billing and collection teams and ensure delivery and continuous improvements.
  • Apply working knowledge of revenue recognition rules to ensure billing and collection processes reflect accounting considerations.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and payments to ensure accuracy and participate in the month-end close process.
  • Address and resolve billing inquiries and disputes from customers promptly and professionally.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the billing workflow, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
  • Coach, train, and develop a team while managing the workflow and prioritization of projects and ensuring on-time execution and completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in billing and collection functions.
  • Experience with international billing and collection operations and managing teams in these geographies.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce, with a strong understanding of their integration.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to and engage with a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving organization and adapt to changing priorities.
