Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Diversity and Inclusion Manager to join our team at Manulife Financial Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our DEI strategy within Canada, ensuring alignment with our global DEI initiatives.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage Canadian ERGs, including succession planning for ERG co-chairs and onboarding of ERG sponsors. You will also be responsible for progressing the work to develop an Indigenous Reconciliation Plan by co-creating an action plan with our strategic partners and working with our internal stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage Canadian Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and their respective activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization.
  • Foster relationships with strategic partners and community organizations to establish and maintain productive partnerships.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion roles, preferably within a global organization or Human Resources or related field.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and beyond.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $124,396.00 - $151,875.00 CAD per year, depending on location. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, mental health, vision, short- and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance coverage, adoption/surrogacy and wellness benefits, and employee/family assistance plans.
