Veterinary Hospital Director

We are seeking a visionary leader who embodies a people-first approach, prioritizing transparent communication and collaboration with our dedicated staff. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, combining financial acumen with a creative mindset to unlock our hospital's potential. With strong emotional intelligence, the Hospital Director will inspire and empower our team to deliver exceptional patient care while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly oversee all clinical operations and business activities, leading cross-functional teams across departments with enthusiasm and purpose.
- Partner effectively with the Medical Director to ensure high-quality patient care and achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrate a strategic orientation by translating vision into actionable plans, managing operations effectively to achieve clinical and financial success.
- Collaborate on the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of staff, ensuring we attract top talent and maintain our high standards of care.
- Work closely with the Medical Director to establish optimal medical care while maintaining the hospital's positive financial health.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the local market and build strong relationships with referring veterinarians to grasp their needs.
Requirements & Attributes:
- 5+ years of progressive operational management experience with a record of success, including experience managing a P&L.
- MBA or equivalent experience is preferred but not required. Healthcare (veterinary or human) experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and inspiring others to achieve exceptional results.

The estimated salary for this role is between $95,000 and $130,000 annually, depending on experience.
