About the Role

Brandt is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team in Brossard Construction & Forestry. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our commercial heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance services on heavy equipment at customer sites, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Identify and Report Issues: Identify and report any additional items that require follow-up service work by a heavy-duty technician, ensuring prompt attention to equipment needs.
  • Accurate Reporting: Ensure accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for customer reporting purposes.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Service-Oriented Experience: Proven experience in contributing to a service-oriented environment, working directly with customers and equipment operators.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Must be motivated, energetic, and possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs.
  • Driver's Abstract and Truck Requirements: A recent driver's abstract will be required, and a Truck Class 3 is necessary for the role.
  • Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Trade Experience: Must have experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment, with trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level being an asset.
