About the Role:

We require an individual who is reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with clients and their families, and possess a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning.
  • Administer medications as required, following established protocols.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements:
  • CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Able to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual and reliable, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Able to lift and move clients safely, if required.
