Psychologist Assessment Specialist

Calian is seeking a skilled Psychologist Assessment Specialist to deliver top-notch psychological assessment services to our esteemed public and private sector clients across Canada. As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients, particularly those operating in high-risk scenarios, by conducting assessments to ensure their applicants are well-suited for the job.

As a Psychologist Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting the results of testing and then conducting follow-up clinical interviews to determine whether candidates meet or do not meet the requirements.

Responsibilities- Interview candidates who have previously completed written personality assessments administered by Calian, complete a template with findings, and receive support from our experienced Senior Consulting Psychologist.
- Perform the second part of a two-part assessment, which includes formal testing using MMPI-3 and 16PF, followed by a structured clinical interview.
- Review and interpret test results, conduct follow-up clinical interviews, and determine candidate suitability.
- Provide feedback on individual assessment results to candidates and defend psychological evaluations when required.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology is preferred; a Master's degree may be accepted.
- Being fully bilingual (French and English) is preferred.
- Must be licensed for autonomous practice as a Psychologist in New Brunswick.
- Must have completed a minimum of 25 psychological assessments in the last 5 years for adults in high-risk occupations such as police, military, first responders, armed border agents, or correctional services officers.
- 2 years of experience performing psychodiagnostic assessments with adults in a clinical setting using DSM criteria.
- 3 years of experience using MMPI-2, MMPI-2-RF, or MMPI-3 in psychodiagnostic or psychological suitability assessments.
