Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving customer prescriptions, gathering necessary information, and ensuring completeness
  • Maintaining patient and drug information files
  • Checking pharmaceutical products prepared by another regulated pharmacy technician or unregulated pharmacy personnel
  • Confirming accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for release

You will also have the opportunity to participate in growing prescription and OTC sales, administer vaccines when required, and prepare prescription labels, among other responsibilities.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • Registered pharmacy technician certification and maintained registration with the appropriate pharmacy licensing body
  • Certification for the administration of injections
  • A high level of professionalism, knowledge of professional discipline, technical specialties, and related processes
  • Leadership and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, and ability to handle cash accurately
