We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Strategic Social Media Content Developer to join our innovative team at Neilson Financial Services. As a key member of our marketing hub, you will play a vital role in creating impactful social media content that drives engagement and performance across multiple life insurance brands.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in direct response advertising and paid social media to develop high-volume social media content, including static images, video, and motion graphics. You will work closely with our performance marketing team to analyze engagement data and refine content based on results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create scalable social media content using AI-powered tools, adapting for multiple channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Stay on top of social media trends, understanding what drives engagement and how to creatively apply these insights to deliver compelling content.
  • Rapidly brainstorm and conceptualize new ideas for direct response advertising campaigns, aligning with the goals of paid social campaigns focused on life insurance products.
  • A/B Test and optimize multiple creative variations across campaigns to identify top-performing assets and iterate based on data-driven results.
  • Apply strong direct response advertising principles to develop content aimed at driving conversions and lead generation through paid social ads.
  • Maintain cross-channel consistency while ensuring creative messaging and visuals are adapted for localized and brand-specific nuances.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a content creator, with a strong background in direct response advertising and paid social.
  • Proven experience using AI-enhanced tools (e.g., ChatGPT, MidJourney, etc.) to streamline the content creation process at scale.
  • Strong understanding of the latest social media trends and ability to use them effectively to generate high-engagement content.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating content specifically for paid social, with a focus on driving leads and conversions.
  • Proficiency across key social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with experience adapting content to different platform formats and best practices.
