About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Feliza African Grocery and Beauty Store Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the store's floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being approachable, friendly, and responsive to customer needs and concerns.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash containers.
  • Assist with cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom areas, including appliances and fixtures.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure
  • Repetitive tasks and ability to maintain attention to detail
  • Physically demanding work and ability to stand for extended periods
