HR Coordinator for Events and Recruitment

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team at Paradox Hotel Vancouver. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating events, managing recruitment processes, and providing administrative support to the HR department.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to ensure smooth execution and high-quality experiences for attendees;
- Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive work environment;
- Manage the flow of information within the team to promote effective communication and collaboration;
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet the organization's goals and objectives;
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to document important discussions and decisions;
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and fill job openings;
- Answer electronic enquiries from employees and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner;
- Maintain and manage digital databases to store and retrieve employee data and other important information;
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement;
- Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to prevent workplace incidents;
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in human resources or a related field an asset;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a coordinator or assistant role;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as Google Docs and Drive;
- Familiarity with human resources software and systems;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines;
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience;
