About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our Manufacturing Team at CenterLine (Windsor) Limited. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality parts on CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, according to company plans and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Load parts, set up controls, and perform simple edits, deburring, and inspection of quality parts.
  • Study and interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
  • Detect equipment malfunctions and adjust machine controls as required to ensure quality of production.
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances, measure, and lay out work pieces.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools, including CNC tools, to perform precision machining operations.
  • Fabricate new parts to replace defective parts during machine setup, maintenance, or overhaul.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Conversational programming experience required - Part Maker, Lemoine.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules.
  • Must possess basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra.
