Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Metro Transport. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating seminars, supervising staff, recording meetings, establishing office procedures, and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to support the success of our operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Meeting Support: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communication: Answer telephone and electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Data Management: Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order office supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
  • Front Desk Support: Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas as needed.
  • Document Control: Set up and maintain information filing systems to ensure accurate and timely access to documents.
  • CORRESPONDENCE: Type and proofread correspondence to ensure accuracy and professionalism.

    Work Details:

    This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in an English-speaking environment. We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
