Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Empress of India Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate team members and identify areas for improvement.
- Cost products and services to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best prices.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide excellent customer service.
- Provide customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to maintain efficiency and productivity.
You will be responsible for supervising 3-4 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:The work environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be expected to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
