Responsibilities
  • Budding, pruning, and grafting trees, shrubs, and plants
  • Cleaning and maintaining the greenhouse and work areas
  • Watering, fertilizing, and tending to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Assisting in seed cutting, mixing fertilizers, and preparing soils
  • Reporting signs of insect or disease damage

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in horticulture
