Job Summary

The Red Seal Pipefitter will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and general preventative maintenance of the plant. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of other tradespeople to complete work across the plant through various construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative maintenance inspections (including repairs and adjustments);
  • Complete documentation of inspections;
  • Installation and maintenance of equipment;
  • Using a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications;
  • Repairing and maintaining pipe systems, supports and related equipment;
  • Complying with relevant codes and standards;

Requirements

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Pipefitter Certification;
  • Possessing Level 'A' Gas Ticket is considered an asset;
  • Possessing interprovincial Red Seal in Plumbing is considered an asset;
  • Possessing dual ticket qualifications is considered an asset;
  • 3-5 years of experience working in an industrial work environment;
  • Experience using computers, hand-held monitors, and SAP;
