Operations Team Lead

This position is responsible for assisting the leadership team in overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring all customer orders are shipped in a timely manner.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Core Job Responsibilities- Train and mentor team members throughout the facility in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Company Core Values
- Delegate tasks and support in execution - support team where necessary to complete the task
- Support in creating process and ensuring team members are following process
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics to Supervisor
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for DC team members (retrain team members and build a safety culture through team meetings and activities) to enhance safety awareness
- Ensure timely and accurate order receipt and shipment; responsible for maintaining cut off time
- As a member of the DC leadership team this position is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy
- Perform stock counts, stock maintenance and inventory count reconciliation
- Assist with picking, checks, loads and processes inbound and outbound product
- Effectively communicate with site leadership regarding daily operations
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong listening and problem resolution skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with dedication to meeting deadlines
- The ability to operate material handling equipment - licensed with any one of the following forklifts
- Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker (not limited to motorized forklifts) and lift up to 50 lbs in weight
- High sense of urgency and customer service
- Previous SAP experience considered an asset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
