About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at DAYS INN. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.

This is a permanent full-time position working approximately 35 hours per week. You will be required to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. A health care plan is provided as part of our comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless delivery of guest services;
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency;
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to lead by example and maintain high standards of performance;
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on guest satisfaction, employee performance, and operational metrics;
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality;
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable;
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively;
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies to build a skilled and motivated team;
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery;
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste;
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, employees and management;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities;
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays;
  • Initiative to identify and resolve problems, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
