Taste To Savour Catering Inc. is a dynamic and innovative food service provider seeking an Executive Chef - Kitchen Operations Manager to lead our culinary team.
About the JobThis is a permanent, full-time opportunity with 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in English.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThe Executive Chef - Kitchen Operations Manager will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining inventory and records. They will also oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, as well as support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, no degree, certificate or diploma, and strong leadership skills. They will be expected to maintain a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers, members of visible minorities, and other employees.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- Experience in kitchen management and supervision;
- Ability to maintain inventory and records;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- No degree, certificate or diploma required;
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
