About the Role:

The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead daily activities of a busy warehouse team as a key member of the Operations team. This role requires finding innovative ways to improve efficiency and create momentum for change.

We seek an experienced professional who can serve as the right-hand and back-up to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to drive change, operate in fast-paced environments, adapt quickly, and inspire others to do the same.

This position demands a proactive, solutions-oriented self-starter who can identify areas for improvement and implement them in a timely manner. Previous LEAN experience is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily warehouse operations by planning and executing workload based on various schedules.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards while promoting a positive Safety culture.
  • Implement ongoing process improvements using KAIZEN and LEAN methodology.
  • Ensure accurate recording of inbound materials in ERP (SysPro).
  • Guarantee timely and cost-effective shipment of finished goods.
  • Manage employees to achieve high levels of quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards before, during, and after each shift (5S).
  • Handle employee concerns and issues, including incident reports and relevant documentation.
  • Manage employee time and attendance, updating hours appropriately (PayWorks).
  • Support staff planning requirements for uninterrupted workflow.
  • Hire, onboard, and train new employees.

Requirements:

What You Have:

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in production and/or warehouse settings.
  • Experience with continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen) manufacturing concepts is highly valuable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with ERP system - Syspro is considered an asset.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, along with group medical and dental benefits fully paid by the company, RRSP plan with a 2.5% company match, Employee and Family Assistance Program, employee discount programs, training opportunities, internal job posting policy, and modern work facilities.
