Job Summary

e-spot Billiards & Arcade is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to oversee our retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning duties, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our store.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, working with a diverse team of staff and customers. Your role will include supervising and coordinating activities, preparing reports, and resolving customer complaints and supply shortages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Hire and train new staff members or arrange for their training.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns.
  • Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Sell merchandise and resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, supervise payroll administration, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Oversee office and volunteer staff and supervise up to 10 people.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • MS Outlook skills and knowledge of computer systems.
  • A strong understanding of business principles and practices.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.
