Cybersecurity Compliance Role Overview

This role is part of our Cybersecurity team at US Tech Solutions. As Data Security Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data.

Job Responsibilities:
  • ITSVC Review Process
  • Deployed Application Classification Assessment: Perform Data Assessment on new Deployed Applications as part of the ITSVC review process and compute CIAT values for AppSec team to review and validate.
  • Ensure CIAT values for existing applications, that are either modified or impacted by the project, are well documented and validated by CDO ITO and regional CISO.
  • Data Governance and Compliance
  • Information Entity and Information Model: Identify all the information entities that are either consumed, produced, transferred or modified as part of the ITSVC with their required attributes.
  • Liaise with Data Office to validate the confidentiality level of these Information Entities identified as part of the ITSVC.
  • Work with Central data architecture team to incorporate any specific regional classification such as contextual classification rules in the catalog, if identified by the Data Office.
  • Liaise with DPO and CDO (Privacy teams) teams if personal data is involved in any project.
  • Document the feedback provided by CDO/DPO in the Readiness Assessment form for that ITSVC.
  • Generate the Information Model for the ITSVC to demonstrate relationship between information entities.
  • Data Flows and Cartography
  • Identify and document all the data flows that are in scope of the project (Application to Application).
  • Update the catalog with new or decommissioned flows with the help of details provided by Project team.
  • BAU Activities
  • Follow Data Recertification process for all the DAPs in scope on a periodic basis based on their Confidentiality level.
  • All Confidential and Secret Applications must be recertified on a yearly basis.
  • Coordinate with regional AppSec and CISO teams to assign official CIAT values to each deployed application in scope.
  • Ensure official CIAT and AppSec profile is assigned to all applications in the region.
  • Update the data flows or cartography of Secret and confidential application in the region, using the inputs from App owner.
About This Job

As a Data Security Architect at US Tech Solutions, you can expect a salary around $120,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.

The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year.
