Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure timely and cost-effective meal preparation.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on kitchen performance and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will be working with a team to deliver high-quality food and service to our customers. You will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
