About the Role
Pizza Pizza is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to lead our fast-paced kitchen team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer has an exceptional dining experience.
Job Summary
- This role reports directly to the Assistant Manager and is responsible for supervising kitchen staff, coordinating meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff who prepare and portion food.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including metrics such as sales, customer satisfaction, and staff productivity.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Basic security clearance.
Work Environment
- Noisy and fast-paced kitchen environment with hot temperatures.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
