Job Title: Manufacturing Technologist
The Manufacturing Technologist is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient manufacture of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and manufacture products in accordance with written processing orders.
- Prepare manufacturing areas and equipment for the production of pharmaceutical products.
- Clean processing equipment and rooms in accordance with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ensure product quality meets the standards of Patheon, our clients, and applicable regulatory agencies.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate is required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in pharmaceutical, food or cosmetic related manufacturing.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work well with limited supervision in a team environment.
Working Conditions:
The Manufacturing Technologist will work in a cleanroom environment with exposure to loud noises, bright lights, and moderate physical discomfort. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required, including safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, and hair net.
