Job Description:

At Regional Recycling Whistler, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waste Management Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate various vehicles and equipment as required by the job.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Report any malfunctions to supervisors and maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and maintenance.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Pickup and Delivery: Pick up and deliver materials as required by the job.
  • Log Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage and maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 30 Hours per Week: Work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some overtime possible.
