Occupational Therapist

VHA Home HealthCare is a leading provider of home care services in Ontario, and we are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will work with a diverse group of pediatric clients in their homes and/or schools, providing consultation, assessment, and planned interventions to promote independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards established by VHA and the relevant regulatory college.
  • Develop and implement client-centered care plans in collaboration with the client and care team.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with all members of the client's team regarding plans and schedules for interventions.
  • Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries of interventions as required by the profession, referral source, and the organization.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid Driver's License with access to a vehicle.
  • Compassionate and empathetic individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
