Job Title: Concrete Finishing Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Supervisor to join our team at IM Concrete Finishing Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of concrete finishing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of concrete finishers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Material Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Workplace Information: On-the-road job with regular travel required.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Language Training: Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees through language training.
  • Credential Recognition: Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.

  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Support for Visible Minorities:
  • Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
