At Prairie Mountain Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Coordinator – Booking Services to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support functions for all staff and clients who receive services from the program they support. This role is an integral part of the Health Care Team and requires performing duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, Policies, and Procedures of Prairie Mountain Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing procedure schedules based on booking information and available resources;
  • Scheduling physician's procedures utilizing block booking guidelines;
  • Effective written, oral, and telephone communication within the hospital between units, departments, and external agencies;
  • Promoting and maintaining good public relations between the hospital, patients, families, and visitors by providing respectful and dignified communication channels;
  • Recognizing and responding to the need for continuous learning and personal development, including attending relevant in-services or workshops, and upgrading information technology capabilities;
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

About You:

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience in an administrative support role.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
