This role reports directly to the Project Engineer and focuses on assisting with projects related to product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes within our facility. Responsibilities include working on technical drawings, updating plant layouts, and contributing to equipment improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed drawing updates, including existing plant layouts and project-specific technical drawings
  • Collaborate with the Project Engineer on engineering and process projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency
  • Assist with various specific projects as directed by the Project Engineer
  • Ensure accuracy and update of line layouts and improvements
  • Support new product start-ups through equipment installation assistance
  • Participate in line efficiency improvement projects
  • Provide input into project layout and design
  • Perform all assigned duties and adhere to outlined job procedures in the SOP manual
  • Maintain adherence to GMPs and Health & Safety rules as stated in the employee handbook

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project

We estimate this position's salary range to be between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and regional market conditions.
