Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Burger King. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that our food is prepared to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking.
- Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, and offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
