Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Winmar Regina. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure that all workers are properly trained and equipped to perform their tasks.
  • Prepare bids and proposals for construction projects, taking into account factors such as budget, timeline, and resources.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions, ensuring that the team has the necessary skills and expertise to complete the project.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure that all aspects of the project are properly managed.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times, and that all workers are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that the project is completed to the required standard.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand the project requirements and ensure that all workers are properly informed.
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure that the team is properly managed and that all workers are performing to the required standard.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed to ensure that the project is properly equipped.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure that they are completed to the required standard and that all workers are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
