About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient needs.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide friendly, positive, and proactive interaction with patients, counseling them on new and additional medications, and educating them on proper use and potential side effects.
  • Community Outreach: Create awareness and educate customers through public relations, including public health days, clinics, and other community events.
  • Leadership and Training: Provide on-going training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues, including technicians, interns, students, and IPGs, and contribute to the development of a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and performance management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies and contribute to the growth and success of our pharmacy operations.
  • Technical Skills: Strong personal computing skills, with knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system an asset.
