The Deputy Chief Project Officer, Redevelopment is a key member of the senior leadership team at Fraser Health. As the operational lead for the Redevelopment Project, this individual is accountable for providing day-to-day oversight, direction, and management related to planning, design, construction, equipment, project support, and results administration.
Responsibilities- Advises and consults with the Chief Project Officer on strategic objectives and implementation of the Project.
- Represents the Chief Project Officer and the project to internal and external stakeholders on processes and project deliverables.
- Supports the CPO in the effective and timely discharge of the Authority's responsibilities as set out in the Modified/Progressive Design-Build phases (Design, Affordability, DB Project Agreement).
- Oversees the day-to-day operational aspects of the project including planning, design, construction, equipment, and project support and the results office.
- Acts as the main project representative through the modified/progressive design/build collaborative/integrated process.
- Manages all processes, standards, risks, costs, schedules, roles, affordability checks, shadow verification, procurement, consultant deliverables, and project accountabilities.
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Ten years' recent, related experience in a senior leadership role in a large complex healthcare organization with responsibility for leading teams and managing large, complex capital projects.
- Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous.
- Creates the conditions for people to succeed.
$145,000 - $175,000 per annum.
