Reliable Maintenance Worker Wanted

We are seeking a dependable General Laborer to join our team at a sorting facility. As a critical member of the team, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and functionality within the facility, ensuring smooth operations and a safe environment for all.
The ideal candidate has experience working independently or part of a small team in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and can work 40+ hours/week. Due to the flexible nature of the shifts, all candidates should have reliable transportation.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment where you can roll up your sleeves and take on new challenges. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including:
- Competitive Hourly Wage: $19.50/hour
- Straight Shifts: Shifts are offered on either days and afternoons
- Lots of overtime available
- 4% vacation pay
- Weekly pay
Key Responsibilities include:
- Keeping shop areas clean and organized
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in workspaces
- Utilizing pressure washers to clean and sanitize bins
- Applying paint and decals to bins for identification and aesthetic purposes
- Assisting Mechanics/Welders: Providing support and assistance with various tasks as needed
- Scrap Metal General Labor Work: Assisting with sorting and processing scrap metal materials
- General Maintenance of Bins
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring cleanliness and quality in all tasks performed
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with coworkers and assist in various tasks as needed
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation due to flexible shift schedules
- Safety Conscious: Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
