About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the restaurant operations team and contributing to the success of our food and beverage department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team of restaurant staff, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure exceptional customer service and quality of food and beverages.
  • Scheduling and Staffing: Develop and implement effective scheduling systems to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods, while minimizing labor costs.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent theft and optimize stock levels, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available when needed.
  • Cash Handling and Administration: Ensure accurate and efficient cash handling procedures, maintaining a secure and organized cash management system.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Foster positive relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education and Training: Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Serving It Right certification, or equivalent, and proficiency in MS Office and Point-of-Sale software.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
