Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Red Lake, ON.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, merchandising products, and supporting the Store Manager in leading the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Order, receive, and stock merchandise in a timely and efficient manner
  • Set up windows and in-store displays to maximize visual appeal and drive sales
  • Complete daily cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Process product returns, price changes, and mark downs accurately and efficiently
  • Recruit, train, and schedule associates and keyholders
  • Submit reports and payroll to Home Office on a timely basis
  • Report any Loss Prevention, Health & Safety, and damage incidents to the Store Manager
  • Maintain and delegate daily tour book entries and store tasks
  • Make bank deposits and reconcile cash handling discrepancies
  • Attend to daily paperwork and emails in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of retail experience with a strong background in customer service and team leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
