About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as Vice President of Sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and expanding our presence in the enterprise market.

Our Marketing Cloud offers users the power to execute sophisticated email marketing campaigns, while our Sales Cloud provides robust CRM capabilities. Our Infrastructure Cloud offers clients a range of features and tools catering to needs related to Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).

Sales Strategy and Operations

The Vice President of Sales will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to capture market share and drive revenue growth. This will involve building and managing a high-performing sales organization, establishing key account relationships, and closing complex deals.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop specific plans and strategies for market capture to achieve aggressive revenue and profit objectives;
  2. Take a major role in key account relationships, closing complex deals, and building ongoing relationships;
  3. Hire, train, organize, and effectively deploy a high-performing sales organization;
  4. Establish sales metrics and KPIs;
  5. Develop and implement enhanced sales processes to monitor sales funnels and forecasts;
  6. Maintain, improve, and create senior-level relationships with existing customers to drive additional revenues;
  7. Ensure operational milestones are met on time, with high quality, and meet cost objectives established.
Competency Profile

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of market trends, and the ability to analyze customer buying patterns. They should be proactive, responsive, and action-oriented, with a practical approach to the selling process.

Preferred Experience / Education
  • A highly intelligent, hands-on sales executive with superb communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Understands market trends and analyzes customer buying patterns;
  • Actively participates in the sales process, including interacting with potential and current customers;
  • Has very practical and concrete orientation towards the selling process that emphasizes being responsive and action-orientated;
  • Early-stage experience where the sales leader leads from the front and must wear multiple hats;
  • Strong team orientation well-suited to building consensus in a growing concern.
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum
