Housekeeping Associate

Surya Hygiene Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our hospital/medical facility or clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Disinfection and Infection Control: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
- Support Services: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, clean changing rooms and showers.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability.
- Training and Development: Will train.
- Support for Diverse Groups: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
